Refresher course
If you haven’t been behind the wheel for some time, a refresher course designed
specifically for you is ideal for developing your confidence and brushing up
on your skills. The courses are available to anyone of any driving ability,
holding a full driving licence.
2 hour course £40
4 hour course £75
10 hour course £180
(These can be taken over as many days as you wish)
We will structure the courses to suit you, but typically they include:
good observations, roundabouts, traffic signals, parking (multi-storey and reverse manoeuvres), speed awareness, wet driving, night driving and motorway skills.
Reading materials. The latest edition of ‘The Official DSA Guide to Driving -
The Essential Skills’ is a comprehensive guide providing you with everything
you need to learn and maintain safe driving skills for life. It also includes details
on independent driving and many other useful tips that will help your skills develop.

‘Roadcraft -The Police Drivers Handbook’ published by the Police Foundation
is full of excellent information on how to drive safely in all conditions.
